Hal McInerney

President | Director of Financial Strategies

Hal began his career in financial services in 1980 after graduating from the University of Western Ontario with a degree in Economics and Business. Over the last 30+ years Hal developed numerous retirement cash flow strategies (RSIP). He has presented these strategies at retirement workshops for many Canadian organizations including 3M Canada, Kellogg’s Canada, the London District Catholic School Board and most recently with the administrative personnel at the Vancouver School Board.

Hal has been a keynote speaker for many national financial services firms across Canada. He has stood as a special presenter for the Independent Financial Broker (IFB) Summits in Vancouver and Calgary.

In 2006 Hal co-founded WMS Financial – a company specializing in cash flow strategies, to bring the RSIP to the forefront of retirement cash flow planning in Canada. The RSIP has been introduced to many advisors across Canada and many clients are now enjoying the numerous benefits of the RSIP Strategies.

Hal has a strong tie to his community. He has worked with many charitable organizations including the United Way, The Canadian Liver Foundation and The Salvation Army to name a few. He has also sat on numerous Church and School Councils in London Ont and Vancouver.

His major passion when not working is golf. It is a hobby he shares with his children as well as his grandchildren. His other passion is singing. He is currently a choir director at Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Vancouver. He is also a member of the Bursting with Broadway choir in North Vancouver.

 

 

    Ryan McInerney

    Ryan studied at Humber College in the Professional Golf Management Program. There he developed and learned essential business skills while continuing to enjoy his passion of competitive golf.
    Having the opportunity to play internationally in both individual and team events led to his most proud athletic accomplishment being inducted to the Humber College Athletics Hall of Fame.
    After success working in the golf industry, in 2007 Ryan made a career change and joined the WMS Financial team. In his current role he is VP of Operations Ontario and continues to grow and develop business as our lead Insurance Advisor.

    Ryan continues to be passionate about Golf and now also his family. He and his wife Kylie are the proud parents of three active boys, resulting in an additional four McInerney golfers.
